Off to the distance
Lost in a dream
Wisps of remembrance
Lost out at sea
Stars in her eyes
She imagines a world
Of magic and dancing
And stories untold

Today isn't the sunniest of days in Austin, so I figured I'd dig up a picture I'd taken in London last September. It's a photo from my great-aunt's not-so-secret garden, and the colors and the way the sunlight sparkles over everything it touches just makes me think of magic and fairy dust and happiness.

Sunday | Sketchbook Update

Because I've decided I miss sketching, and have realized that the only way one can improve is constant practice, I've resolved to sketch something almost every day. I had decided earlier to make it everyday, buuuuut I think sustainability is key, and therefore, almost is going to be the crucial word. Here's an update of my recent sketches! 

These are all Instagram pics because I was itching to start up on this blog again; I'll get around to better quality photos latahhh! I mean, my camera wants to start creating magic again too.
